Welcome to our school website.
We hope to give visitors to this site a flavour of life in our school as well as keeping parents and pupils up to date with what is happening in our school. You can see recent photos of school events by checking out our blog or by visiting Kilnagross NS Parents Association Facebook page.
Our school has a staff of three mainstream teachers, including the Principal, one shared SET teacher, two Special Needs Assistants, caretaker/cleaner and school secretary.There are 55 pupils currently attending.
The students of Kilnagross NS take part in a wide variety of activities and competitions including football, basketball, athletics, quizzes, music, drama, art, swimming and computer lessons . The school has earned three green flags and we were awarded our first Active Schools Flag in June 2023.
We are in the development stages of our school garden and outdoor classroom, after huge fundraising efforts from the Parents Association through their “Win a Heifer” raffle. We hope to have the garden and outdoor classroom completed by the end of 2026.
